Education Committee Co-Chair

Troy Kuntz is a Dickinson local, having graduated from Trinity High School in 2006, Dickinson State University in 2011, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Education. Troy works for the Dickinson Public Schools as an Elementary Library Media Specialist, where he has worked to create partnerships with city, state, and national organizations to bring STEM opportunities to K-5 students. His passion for this work has brought him to the SW Art Gallery and Science Center Board where he is able to use his skills to enhance science education through activities and events. 

Troy is very involved in the community. It is a goal of his to leave Dickinson a better community than the one he grew up in. Troy sits as the president of the Dickinson Area Public Library Board as well as the chair of the DSU Heritage Foundation’s Alumni Committee. He is also very involved in community theater, having participated in the DPS Foundation’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theater for the past 12 years as well as other productions put on by different local groups including the Badlands Opera Project. In his free time, he loves to travel and experience the wonderful world around him.
