Artists across the region are invited to submit work for Frontier to Future: America at 250 Art Exhibition, a special community art exhibition hosted by the Southwest Art Gallery + Science Center in Dickinson.
This exhibition asks artists to reflect on a powerful question:
What does freedom and independence look like through your eyes?
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, this exhibit will celebrate the personal stories, heritage, identity, and community experiences that shape our understanding of freedom. Artists of all ages and disciplines are encouraged to submit original work that speaks to the past, present, and future through diverse creative voices.
The exhibition is open to regional artists working in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, quilting, mixed media, digital art, ceramics, and other creative forms. Each submitted piece must be accompanied by a short story that describes the artist’s sense of personal freedom and independence as expressed through the work.
Exhibition Dates: June 23 through September 11
Location: Southwest Art Gallery + Science Center, 99 2nd Street East, Dickinson, ND
