With over four decades of experience in the realm of art education, I have consistently honed my craft, allowing me to cultivate a diverse skill set that extends beyond the classroom. My artistic journey includes the creation of impactful business logos that resonate with their intended audiences. In addition to my creative endeavors, I have been an active participant on various esteemed boards, contributing my insights to further enhance the artistic community.

One of my notable accomplishments was the directorship of the Winter Wheat Show by the ND Council in the Arts, a role that allowed me to orchestrate a showcase of artistic excellence and innovation. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to receive prestigious awards, notably securing the esteemed “Best of Show” recognition, as well as being singled out for my discerning eye as a recipient of the coveted Judge’s Choice award.

My creative reach extends beyond traditional mediums, with my captivating photography capturing the awe-inspring spectable of bison in rut, a work that garnered widespread attention, with geatures on prominetn national networks including NBC, CBS, and ABC. Additionally, my artisitic prowess is exemplified in the iconic design of the DSU “classic” Blue Hawk, a symbol that encapsulates the spirit of an institution.

My contributions have not gone unnoticed within the artistic community, as evidenced by my invitation to showcase a curated selection of thirty artworks at the esteemed Waterworks Art Museum. My dedication to watercolor artistry was further acknowledged with an esteemed award from the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society.

My artistic footprint has extended to regional exhibitions, such as the Lincoln Gallery Regional Fine Art Show, where my work was personally invited for display, underscoring its significance in the realm of fine art. Notably, my artistic achievements have earned me the distinction of having my creations included in the permanent collection of the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame, a testament to the enduring impact of my contributions to the artistic heritage of the region. I have also received the distinguished honor of being one fo the represented artists invited to exhibit art at the Capital Gallery in Bismarck, North Dakota.

My achievements highlight a career marked by creativity, innovation, and a profound dedication to the world of art.
